DAMN Wallpaper.plug is still not working? here's the how-to guide [UPDATE]

Remove your not-working wallpaper.plug


Be sure that pantheon-wallpaper is installed. Ok we can start




Download this file


Extract it in your home user, and delete 'build' folder, now:


sudo apt-get install bzr valac libgtk-3-dev libpantheon-dev libgranite-dev cmake


then


cd wallpaper-plug
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
sudo make install


FOR THE LATEST UPDATED-WALLPAPER.PLUG use this:




 type:


bzr branch lp:~elementary-os/pantheon-plugs/wallpaper-plug

then the same..


cd wallpaper-plug
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
sudo make install












Finished! You'll finally find your workin-wallpaper.plug in Switchboard.

UPDATE 1:
IT'S NO MORE NECESSARY. INSTALL 'switchboard-gnome-control-center' AND WILL FIND AN 'APPEARANCE' PLUG FINALLY WORKIN.. link
